Which Level is right for me?

Beginner & Adv. Beginner

Perfect for those with little or no experience, these classes provide hands-on guidance to help you get started on your pottery journey.

If you have limited experience and have only taken one or two wheel classes before, this is the perfect place to start.

Not sure if wheel throwing is right for you? Check out our Combined Clay class. You get to try both wheel throwing and hand building.

Mixed Level

This class can have brand new beginners through Intermediate level students. All levels welcome. Time will be given to ensure beginners gain the knowledge and tools needed to learn how to throw on the wheel - more advanced students will be given challenges to work on but are asked to be helpful and allow for beginners to get the instruction needed to be successful.

Adv. Beginner - Intermediate

Students must have a good foundation having taken at least one 8 week class recently. Must be able to center, open and pull walls.

Intermediate +

Students can throw a 6” cylinder with relative consistency. This class is not for beginners or those still struggling to center clay.

This is the current ADVANCED Class. Students in this level typically are sharing tips and techniques with each other and are developing a more critical eye - This level will work on altering forms and can incorporate more wheel and hand-building techniques.
